Dear Parents/Carers
As you know, Ofsted inspected our school on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th June 2024. I am delighted to tell you that our school was judged to continue to be ‘outstanding’ in each category including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management. Our overall effectiveness as a school was confirmed by Ofsted as being ‘outstanding’. I have attached a copy of our final report here.
As you may be aware, the framework for Ofsted changed in 2019 to allow inspectors to focus on the quality of the curriculum, how it is taught and the impact it has on children’s knowledge and progress. The framework for ‘outstanding’ is exacting and is not possible to achieve without careful planning, attention to detail and creating an environment that is ‘harmonious’ in which young people can ‘thrive.’
We have worked diligently since our last inspection to ensure that children receive an excellent education alongside a wide range of opportunities and experiences to support them in becoming successful, confidentand articulate young people. Our pupils’ academic achievements afford them a wide range of choices about their future pathways. We are delighted that so many of them regularly visit us and talk positively about their school experience.
As Headteacher, it is clear to me that when parents, teachers and pupils come together with commitment and dedication, our school offers an outstanding educational experience. Ofsted has once again judged us as “outstanding” and that is something I would like you all to be very proud of.
