We offer fantastic extra-curricular opportunities in music in partnership with Bolton Music Service.
These sessions are free and are instrumental lessons which take place each week for 20 minutes during the school day in lesson time.
Piano lessons are on Monday while drum, guitar and vocal lessons are all on Thursday.
Miss Jones said: “Pupils are entitled to one free lesson in music per week. This is an excellent opportunity for pupils and will help increase their musical skill. Learning an instrument is linked to increased self-discipline, concentration and social skills.”
Bilal, Year 8 said: “I have been having guitar lessons since September and I am really enjoying them. It’s great to learn new pieces and I look forward to it each week.”
Anees, Year 7 said: “I have been having guitar lessons since January and I am very enthusiastic about my music education. I enjoy the practical side of music and it’s my favourite part of the week.”
Zain, Year 7 said: “I really enjoy playing the guitar, I feel like I am making good progress and I am now able to play different chords.”
