Our Year 7 pupils enjoyed a STEM workshop ‘From the depths of the oceans to outer space’ organised by BAE Systems, The Royal Air Force and The Royal Navy.
Head of Careers Mr Cadman said: “The aim of this educational roadshow was to inspire pupils in the world of STEM careers – Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. It was exceptional.”
The roadshow asked pupils to order the planets, got them exploring how life might be on a submarine and generally just chatting about science in the universe!
Year 7 Nasrin Patel said: “It was informative and got us thinking about what’s above and below us! There are a lot of STEM careers to consider.”
