Mr Tahir has moved from the Pleckgate classroom into the staff room after taking up a role of IT Technician in March.
Mr Tahir was part of the Class of 2016 and described his time as a pupil here as ‘fantastic.’
He said: “I loved my time at Pleckgate, the teachers, the pupils – everything about it. It was a fantastic time.
“I studied IT at Pleckgate and went onto St Mary’s College before going to UCLan and doing a degree in Network and Security.
“I have had a few IT jobs, learning the trade, and then I saw one at Pleckgate advertised.
“I wanted to grab this opportunity as I knew most of the people here and knew I would work well here.
“It’s my ideal job and I have loved it. There are still teachers here that taught me and it is odd going from calling them ‘sir’ and ‘miss’ to their first names.
“I think they were shocked to see me and all said I had changed, but it was eight years ago!
“It’s great being back.”
